Ali kalkulatorji ogljičnega odtisa delujejo?

Kalkulatorji so bili formalno ocenjeni [1], in pošten povzetek je, da so izobraževalni in ne računovodski instrumenti. Dva kalkulatorja, ki sta imela enake vhodne podatke, se redno precej razlikujeta, ker delata različne predpostavke o intenzivnosti omrežja, vključenih emisijah, dodelitvi in sistemskih mejah.
